Mid Season Rankings

First I would like to start out by apologizing to the league. It has been brough to my attention that I did not do a post draft grade this year. In lieu of that I will be doing a Mid season rankings. As we all know, except for Brad, that we are halfway through the regular season. I will be ranking each team 10-1. These ranking will take into account multiple criteria. Wins, points scored, potential team value and last of all my opinion. With that being said I bring you all to the 2023 Mid-Season Rankings.

10) Daniel Masters-AKA The Ice Queen

Record: 3-4 PF: 861.64

Potential Playoff Starting Team:

QB: Trevor Lawrence RB1:Bijan Robinson RB2: Austin Ekeler WR1: Stefon Diggs WR2: Zay Flowers TE: Mark Andrews Flex1: Diontae Johnson Flex2: Amari Cooper Def: Saints

Starting off Daniel does not have the worst record, nor does he have the worst PF scored, however he has taken the most Ice’s this year and on that stat alone he finds himself sitting at the 10th ranked place. Although Daniel has been able to produce three wins this year he has been apart of some the most lopsided trades. Daniel has traded away DK Metcalf, Brian Robinson, Kenneth Walker and dropped Adam Theilen. I will give it to Daniel though, Bijan Robinson has shined this year and Mark Andrews bows down to only the one true TE God. Daniel has easily dropped the bag this year and is why he finds himself sitting at the bottom of the ranking with his Smirnoff Ice.

9) Gabe Fabian- AKA The Glurp who Glurped the Glurpest!!!!!

Record: 2-5 PF: 775.97

Potential Playoff Starting Team: QB: Josh Allen RB1: Jonathan Taylor RB2: Derrick Henry WR1: Justin Jefferson-Potential IR designation ending week 13 WR2: Terry McLaurin TE: Kyle Pitts Flex1: Nico Collins Flex2: Rachaad White Def: ATL Falcons

Gabrielle coming in at #9 does not show the true potential of his team. Losing JJ, number 1 overall pick, for 8 weeks would crush anyone’s team. Gabe grambled on JT and it hurt him at the beginning of the year, followed by Jefferson going out for the second half of the year is why I have placed him in sole ownership of 9th place. Gabe’s bold strategy of summoning the Glurp God Of Glurping has shown him some favortism but I don’t believe it will be enough to get him into the playoffs this year.

8) Dustin Srinivas- Tua Late Tua Make The Playoffs….

Record: 4-3 PF: 782.28 Potential Playoff Starting Team: QB: Tua Tagovailoa RB1: Josh Jacobs RB2: Dameon Pierce (Not Travis Etienne LOL) WR1: DK Metcalf WR2: Mike Evans TE: Travis Kelce Flex1: Tee Higgins (Still hasn’t outscored Mike Williams week three points) Flex2: Brian Robinson Def: Baltimore Ravens

Oh Dusty Dusty Dusty. The best part of your team is Travis Kelce and now you can watch him keep you from last place in the taco bowl. I will give it to you though, trading Daniel Cam Akers and Tyler Lockett for DK Metcalf and Brian Robinson, I’m cry laughing right now typing that, is this biggest okey doke since Bugs Bunny tricked Elmer Fudd into shooting his own asshole with a shotgun. Daniel you’re Elmer Fudd, just in case you were wondering. I look forward to watching you attempt to convince everyone to get rid of 6th place highest points and league median this coming off season.

7) Bradley Barber-AKA Taco King

Record: 2-5 PF: 810.02 Potential Playoff Starting Team: QB: Justin Fields RB1: Kenneth Walker RB2: Isiah Pacheco WR1: Davante Adams WR2: Michael Pittman TE: Darren Waller Flex1: Jahmyr Gibbs Flex2: Gabe Davis Def: Buffalo Bills

Brad you are #7 in the rankings, but #1 in our hearts. You have made some great trades to keep you in contention and I can say we all hope it works out in your favor. Justin Fields has shown glimpses of FF greatness and we are about to see Gibbs pop off. Unfortunately harboring a team of RB2s and WR2s will make it difficult for you to make it far into the season. I wish you all the luck and can not wait to have matching tattoos with you.

6) Mike Brooks- AKA The Phoenix

Record: 2-5 PF: 763.41 Potential Playoff Starting Team: QB: Joe Burrow RB1: Alvin Kamara RB2: Breece Hall WR1: Ja’Marr Chase WR2: Jaylen Waddle TE: Goerge Kittle Flex1: Garret Wilson Flex2: Michael Thomas Def: Buccaneers

Like a Phoenix dying Mike’s team has rose from the ashes. With the resurgence of the Bengals and Jets we have seen a resurgence of Mike’s team. Starting off with 4 losses put him behind the 8 ball, but as we saw last week, with majority of his team on bye, he was able to be three scorer. Barring any injuries Mike should not have an issue making the playoffs this year.

5) Paul Karatechop- AKA Iron Man

Record: 4-3 Potential Playoff Starting Team: QB: Kyler Murray RB1: Tony Pollard RB2: Saquon Barkley WR1: Keenan Allen WR2: Chris Olave TE: Evan Engram Flex1: Raheem Mostart Flex2: Deebo Samuel Def: Jets

Paul has been the most consistent team in the league for the last 5 years and this year may be his best yet. Injury after injury Paul has been able to stay in the running for top 5 placement and has made smart trades to keep his team relevant. He will have a tough run in the playoffs going up against some of the healthier FF members, but as he has shown in the past he can make it happen.

4) Andrew Miller- AKA Dylan Paigen

Record: 5-2 PF: 899.29 Potential Playoff Starting Team: QB: Jaylen Hurts RB1: Kyren Williams RB2: Aaron Jones WR1: Cooper Kupp WR2: AJ Brown TE: Dalton Shultz Flex1: Jakobi Meyers Flex2: James Connor Def: Eagles

Andrew Miller has sprung himself into one of the better FF teams this year and we all know he couldn’t of done it without Dylan’s help. However, we have no rules against Ghost Managers so props to you Miller. Miller is a top 4 team with a top 2 bench, and this has allowed him to stay strong even with a few injuries this year. He will be competing for his first championship if he stays on the run he has been on. Having the Eagles QB/WR duo can swing his point total 50-70 points on a given week.

3) Charlie Yates- AKA Le MediaÑ

Record: 4-3 PF: 943.06 Potential Playoff Starting Team: QB: Lamar Jackson RB1: James Cook RB2: Joe Mixon WR1: Tyreek Hill WR2: CeeDee Lamb TE: Sam LaPorta Flex1: DeVonta Smith Flex2: Chris Godwin Def: Dallas Cowboys

Charlie has come out swinging this year with the new Def scoring and complaining about league median. Unfortunately for the league he packs a big punch and has accumulated the second highest PF without a single Ice Pick this year. The league is honored to hear him weekly rosterbate on Chuck Duck Goose where he gives great details on how good his team is and how bad our league since we use 6th highest points instead of league median. Charlie has also been the unluckiest this year during FA being the second highest bid for players such as Adam Thielen and Jerome Ford. However, Charlie struck gold with Sam LaPorta and was the missing piece his top three team needed.

2) Dextrick Abeyta- AKA Stock Man (Because He Be Making Trades)

Record 4-3 PF: 899.62 Potential Playoff Starting Team: QB: Justin Herbert RB1: Travis Eitenne RB2: De’Von Achane WR1: Amon-Ra st. Brown WR2: Adam Theilen TE: Dallas Goedert Flex1: D’Andre Swift Flex2: DJ Moore Def: Chiefs

I don’t do Ifs, ands, buts or maybes… I do absolutes. 3 top ten RBs, 3 top ten WRs, top five QB and top 5 TE. No CAP!

1)Parker Johnson- AKA Champ

Record: 5-2 PF: 1002.23 Potential Playoff Starting Team: QB: Patrick Mahomes RB1: CMC RB2: David Montgomery WR1: Puka Nuka WR2: Brandon Aiyuk TE: T.J. Hockenson Flex1: Jordan Addison Flex2: Christina Kirk Def: 49ers

4-7 Ice picks and highest PF what more can I say, but He’s the Champ until he aint the Champ no more.

This concludes the first ever mid season rankings. Good luck boys!
