Today Adam Schefter announced that the Denver Broncos have hired DeMarcus Ware as a pass rush consultant. DeMarcus Ware is known for his time wrecking the NFC East with the Dallas Cowboys, but it wasn’t until he went to the Mile High City that he was able to finally make it to the SHIP. Now DeMarcus Ware will be consulting the already talented Denver Broncos and help them take out a injury prone Derek Carr, fading Phillip Rivers and a rookie QB who has not earned the right to be mentioned.
DeMarcus Ware is not the first NFL player to end his career in Denver and is definitely not the first to go back to help the team out. Brian Dawkins only played two years with the Broncos, but has spent many off season workouts helping young DB talent. Gary Kubiak retired from coaching and stayed around the organization for the winning atmosphere that Denver has shown to be. Now you may have heard of a little guy named Peyton Manning, the GREATEST QUARTERBACK OF ALL TIME, who holds the records for: most TD’s in a season, most passing yards in a season, most TD’s in a career and most passing yards in a career. This all time great, who spent the majority of his career in Indy, frequents Denver’s practice facility to give his vast knowledge of the game. While other teams have ex-players constantly berating their organization, Denver can’t keep them away.
Five championships in fifteen years is nice, but being a large black man pleasing the rest of the NFL’s players is just dandy.
